Sachiko Iwabuchi

There are many reasons I wish I were in Tokyo right now but the most compelling is an upcoming solo exhibition by one of my favourite Japanese artists, Sachiko Iwabuchi (いわぶちさちこ). Born in Kobe, Sachiko creates beautifully soft and delicate, pastel-hued watercolours for textiles, books and stationery (the latter of which is produced by Graphic Station - a division of Art Print Japan). Her range of bedding called Rêve de Lisa is so sweet that it makes me dream just looking at it!
